Experience the crunch of perfectly fried chicken paired with the comforting richness of pasta – a dish that brings a taste of Italy straight to your table tonight!
Start by marinating the chicken. Season the chicken pieces with salt and black pepper. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
While the chicken is marinating, cook the pasta. In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 10 minutes. Once done, drain and set aside.
To prepare the chicken for frying, set up a breading station. Place the flour in one bowl, beat the egg in another bowl, and put the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
Coat each piece of chicken in flour, shake off the excess, dip it in the egg, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they stick well.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot (test by dropping in a breadcrumb; it should sizzle), carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the skillet. Fry them for about 5-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove them and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
In the same skillet, add the cooked pasta to the pot with a little more olive oil and toss well to combine. You could also add grated parmesan cheese here for extra flavor.
Serve the fried chicken on a plate with the pasta on the side, garnished with extra parmesan if desired.

This dish provides a hearty dose of protein from the chicken and carbohydrates from the pasta, making it a satisfying meal but should be enjoyed in moderation due to its higher fat content from frying.
