Spaghetti alla Burro e Parmigiano is a comforting classic that brings together two simple ingredients for a deliciously rich and satisfying meal that you can prepare in no time!
Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. This will take about 5 minutes.
Once the water is boiling, add 200 grams of spaghetti. Cook according to the package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until 'al dente'.
While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pan, melt 100 grams of unsalted butter over low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
When the spaghetti is ready, reserve about 1/2 cup of the cooking water, and drain the pasta.
Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the melted butter. Toss to coat the spaghetti well with the butter.
Gradually add in the reserved pasta water, a little at a time, stirring until you have a creamy sauce.
Next, add 50 grams of finely grated Parmesan cheese and mix well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan if desired.

This dish provides a good source of carbohydrates for energy and a decent amount of protein, thanks to the Parmesan, while being rich in fats from the butter. Enjoy it in moderation for a delightful treat!
