You won't regret trying these sweet and smoky Shishito Peppers tonight!
Start by rinsing the 200 grams of shishito peppers under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Add the shishito peppers to the skillet and cook them for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are blistered and slightly softened.
Once the peppers are blistered, add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce to the skillet. Stir well to evenly coat the peppers.
Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, letting the soy sauce caramelize slightly and coat the peppers.
Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the peppers to a serving dish.
Garnish with 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds, and finely chop 1 piece of green onion to sprinkle on top for added flavor and color.
Serve immediately as an appetizer or side dish.
