Next, add the garlic powder and onion powder to the cheese mixture, stirring until combined.
Finely chop the jalapeño, removing the seeds if you prefer less heat. Fold the jalapeño into the creamy mixture.
Chop the green onions and reserve a little for garnish. Mix the rest into the dip.
Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and slightly golden on top.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle reserved green onions on top for garnish.
