Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
Start by preparing the bell peppers. Slice the tops off and remove the seeds inside. Set them aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Next, add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, stirring occasionally, about 7-8 minutes.
Once the turkey is cooked, mix in the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
Now, fill each prepared bell pepper with the creamy turkey mixture. Make sure to pack the mixture in well.
Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish. If necessary, you can trim the bottoms slightly to help them stand.
Pour a little water in the bottom of the baking dish to help steam the peppers during baking.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the tops are golden.
