Sformato di Carne e Feta is a delicious and comforting bake that’s perfect for any night!
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). This will take about 10 minutes.
In a large frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat and add 1 chopped onion and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
Add 500 grams of ground beef to the pan. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with 200 grams of crumbled feta cheese, 3 beaten eggs, 100 grams of bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well until combined.
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
Once done, remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
