Brioche Monkey Bread is a fun, interactive dessert that brings warmth and joy to any gathering!
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter over low heat until warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and butter mixture with a tablespoon of sugar and the dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
Once the yeast mixture is frothy, add the eggs and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until it forms a soft dough.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Once risen, punch down the dough and break it into small pieces.
Roll each piece into a ball and dip each ball in a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
Stack the balls in a greased bundt pan, layering them evenly.
Cover the pan and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the monkey bread for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before inverting onto a plate.
