Spice up your dinner with these zesty turkey tacos, combining heat and sweetness for a delicious twist!
Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add a splash of oil to the pan.
While the oil is heating, finely chop the onion and garlic.
Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 3 minutes, or until the onion becomes translucent.
Finely chop the jalapeño, remove seeds for less heat if desired, and add it to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning and stir to combine. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
While the turkey is cooking, peel, pit, and dice the mango. Set aside.
Once the turkey is cooked, remove it from heat. Squeeze the juice of half a lime into the turkey mixture and stir.
Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side until pliable.
To assemble the tacos, place a generous scoop of the spicy turkey mixture onto each tortilla. Top with diced mango and chopped cilantro.
Drizzle with lime juice from the remaining half of the lime before serving.
