Bring the warmth of a home-cooked meal to your dinner table with these hearty, flavorful stuffed bell peppers!
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for about 5 minutes until translucent.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add the cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and parsley to the beef mixture. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes to combine flavors.
Stuff each bell pepper generously with the beef and rice mixture. Place stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top of each pepper, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed peppers!
