instructions
    1

Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add 250 grams of spaghetti and cook for about 8-10 minutes until al dente.

    2

While the pasta cooks, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 minced cloves of garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    3

Next, add the 400 grams of canned tomatoes into the skillet. Cook for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. Stir occasionally.

    4

Once the pasta is ready, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.

    5

Add the drained spaghetti to the saucepan with the tomato sauce. Mix well, adding a little reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

    6

Tear the 10 basil leaves and sprinkle them over the pasta. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir gently.

    7

Finally, serve while hot, garnished with 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese.
