Ginger Beef Stir-Fry is a quick, flavorful dish that will transport you to the streets of China in just 30 minutes!
Begin by slicing the beef thinly against the grain. This helps tenderize the meat.
In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
While the beef is marinating, prepare your vegetables: thinly slice the bell pepper and cut the broccoli into florets.
In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 5 minutes until browned.
Next, add the minced garlic and ginger to the beef, stirring continuously for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the bell pepper and broccoli to the pan. Stir-fry everything together for about 5 more minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Pour in 1/4 cup of soy sauce and 1/4 cup of water. Mix well and let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
While waiting, chop your green onions to use as a garnish.
Once the sauce has thickened to your liking, remove the skillet from heat. Serve the Ginger Beef Stir-Fry hot, garnished with green onions.
